Certification organizations include the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). So we're not just trusted; we're certified.

IC-rated (Insulated Ceilings)

Our fixtures meet the IC standard established by the Canadian Electrical Code section 30-906 and can be in contact with combustible material or blanketed with thermal insulation.

DesignLights Consortium® (DLC)

Many Axis Lighting fixtures are certified by the DesignLights Consortium (DLC), a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the widespread adoption of high-quality, energy-efficient commercial lighting solutions.

NYC-ready

New York City regulations

Our products are designed and manufactured to comply with New York City building codes, including the 2016 NYC Energy Conservation Code and the Department of Building’s (DOB) Energy Code, which addresses lighting requirements, interpretations and documentation queries.

CCEC (Chicago plenum)

All of our circuitry is sealed and gasketed from the plenum air space, thereby complying with the City of Chicago Electrical Code.

TM-21 tested life

We have calculated the life of our luminaires using the “Projecting Long Term Lumen Maintenance of LED Light Sources” standard created by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
